2022_July_Edition_3_Music_in_Stockport

Welcome to a special edition of the programme celebrating organ and keyboard music around the Stockport area of Cheshire.  GARETH EDWARDS from Stockport Organ & Keyboard Club drops into the studio for a chat about how the club is thriving post-pandemic and how you can get involved in its many activities.

We visit the Stockport Town Hall to hear the superb WurliTzer organ owned and maintained by the Lancastrian Theatre Organ Trust and hear music from the recent lunchtime showcase given by organist DAVID LOBBAN, plus CHARLES BROWN and DAVID ALLDRED explain how the organ has been brought back to full working order following the damaged by flooding last November.

This edition is sponsored by the Lancastrian Theatre Organ Trust
