In this special episode of our Community First podcast, we celebrate and amplify the voices of our industrious, resilient remarkable female entrepreneurs from Ghana. We delve into their personal experiences, pivotal moments and lessons they have learnt along the way. From launching start-ups to navigating the complexities of work-life balance, our guests will share candid insights into the dual worlds they inhabit. We will also be offering listeners a unique perspective on law and compliance in relation to entrepreneurship. According to the second edition of the MasterCard Index of Women’s Entrepreneurship (MIWE), Ghana has the highest percentage of women’s business owners with a whopping 46% of the total number of business holders in the country being women. The campaign theme for International Women's Day 2024 is #Inspire Inclusion. By this episode, we therefore hope to inspire others to understand and value women's inclusion in the Ghanaian Business space. Primarily, we seek to inspire women who are hesitant to venture into setting up their businesses to take that step, inspired by the shared success stories of other women. Our guest speakers are: 1. Catherine Krobo Edusei (Founder- Eden Tree Limited); 2. Mrs. Essie Ano Sackey (Managing Director- PHI Century LTD); and 3. Thelma Odartey (Managing Director- Big Picture Events).
