This podcast is a beginning runner's journey to a 5K. We will run together to keep each other accountable with a goal of running a 5K race in the spring of 2025. I have been running as a hobby and to stay in reasonable physical shape off and on for 16 years. I have only once ran in a 5K and that was 16 years ago. Recently sidelined for a leg injury, my doctor told him to ease back into running. As he has healed up, and at 51 years old, I am beginning his running journey again. While running, I will share insights, motivation, and other observations that have added value to my life. I hope they will add value to your life. I hope you enjoy my unique perspective and sense of humor to keep you entertained and enjoying the time together and working toward a goal of better physical fitness. This extemporaneous podcast will keep you entertained, motivated and growing as you continue your journey to your own physical fitness goals. If you are just beginning your running journey, let's hold each other accountable through this podcast.

Surviving Quitters Day
The Second Friday in January is known as Quitter's Day as most people's New Year's Resolutions do not survive beyond this. In this episode, I work to overcome external and internal obstacles such as the weather and push myself to complete the 30 minute workout in cold, snowy conditions. We talk about being deliberate about the way we spend our money and our time noting that these decisions are a reflection of what we value. I hope you enjoy this week's edition, that it supports you on your journey and that it adds value for you.
