Art in the Library: Bold Glory

The art inspiration for this episode is Born on the 4th of July by Laura Stisser. This abstract acrylic work features red, white, and blue hues which led to a discussion of dyes used in early American Flags and then a discussion of the chemistry of fireworks after the break.  These colors don't run, but they sure make a big bang. Join us for this relaxing second episode.
