Julien is the Director of the MENA programme at the European Council on Foreign Relations and was previously based in Egypt, Syria and Iraq as a journalist. The discussion covered everything from the fall of Assad's regime and the ceasefire in Gaza to Iran's nuclear programme and Israeli-Saudi normalisation.
