UMD, Gophers pick up weekend sweeps; MIAC action ramps up
Sports are hard. Trying to maintain your place in college hockey’s upper echelon is also hard. When you think about it, there’s 16 teams that get to make the tournament. There’s six conferences, so that’s five spots you aren’t going to get right off the top. That means you have to be one of the best 11 teams in the country each and every year for your fanbase not to complain that the sky is falling. But that’s sports. Rationality goes out the window. WIth that in mind, here’s this weekend’s Minnesota College Hockey Scoreboard, devoid of breakdowns, analysis or anything outside of the scores. Remember, it’s JUST. THE. SCORES.
