This episode we look into cars that you will only truly appreciate if you're a car enthusiast, we find Mike the perfect run around car, and we delve into the darker pasts of Lewis and Mike and the differences between growing up in East London and growing up in the Derbyshire countryside. Surprisingly one of us has had run ins with the police, but is it who you thought?
After two weeks away, we're back! This episode new keep it cars throughout the whole thing.
Catching up from two weeks apart and the various events and developments that have occurred.
This episode Mike and Lewis catch up on the last week, share updates on Takona, Squisita and TBR tm, and are shocked at the cost of a sausage roll!
This week we teamed up with Liam and Jared from The Back Roads tm to announce some of the future plans that involve all four of us as well as recapping this months Coffees and Cars events.
We do the usual and go off on tangents, only now we drag two more people along with us!
You can find The Back Roads Here.
The regular listeners will have noticed that this episode is a week late!
Well someone has been ill and unable to talk, which makes podcasting a bit tricky, but we're here now!
We know, we know, we're late.
Unfortunately part of running two small businesses means time isn't always synchronised to line up, and Mike had am migraine. But we've sat down and gotten this episode together, just for you.
We chat about getting the TT together, the first competitive outing for the Takona GT86, plans for our future, and other things...
Our biggest coffees and cars yet! We are speechless, and still managed to rock out over an hours worth of conversation.
Absolutely blown away by the community that's growing around our little meets, well, now quite a big meet.
We catch up from the previous week, Mike promises dad jokes in the future, Lewis forgets a story. Usual business really.
We've basically recorded two podcasts in three chunks. Part one is made up of pieces one and three and sees us talking about Takona, Cofficionadi, Squisita and our usual car world shenanigans.
Part 2 is a look into our backgrounds and upbringings and the ways our lives have come from wildly different starts to converge to where we are today.
You can find us on Instagram and Twitter.

This week we catch up from car shows and share developments of our plans for the future.
Mikes Mic Dies halfway through! mercifully for you that makes this a shorter episode.
We've got new microphones!
Having been shamed by Liam and Jared of The Back Roads tm (we have to put tm now). We've got some new microphones, and what better way to test them out than to record this weeks podcast.
We sat down to catch up from the week, share some of the things we've been doing both together and independently, and generally catch up.

We're back on the road!
The fantastic guys at Classic Racing Simulators have invited us down to the base in Farnborough to spend some time getting to grips with their brilliant racing simulators.
We headed down in the GT86 to meet up with some automotive friends, have some fun, and create some fun and interesting bits of content for The Classic Racing Simulator guys.
The audio in the 86 has some background noise, but it was a lot of fun to record.
It's 2022, it's season 2, get yourself a cup of coffee, it's time for the podcast!
Lewis and Mike review 2021 and look ahead to the ideas and hopes for 2022, it's going to be a promising year.
We're getting you involved, drop us reviews and we'll drop you shoutouts, the funnier the better.
Mike and Lewis sit down for a post Christmas catch up. A chance to actually talk about coffee and get some ideas down for car plans in 2022.

We keep it under an hour!
This week the car calendar has been a little lighter, giving us the chance to look back into our car histories.
The tangents have been kept to a minimum, and the stories kept relatively on topic!
It's a long one! We sit down to catch up from the last couple of weeks activities. Picking up from where episode 3 left of with us arriving at the Duke of London, and running through to watching the Formula 1 final after coffees and cars yesterday.
In typical fashion we go off on some wild tangents that aren't in any way car related, including: why maths is annoying for those who can't show their workings, and the correct way to use the northern 't', it's not just a replacement for 'the'.
As always Mike can be found at Squisita and Lewis at Takona.
The podcast can be found on Instagram and Twitter
Mike and Lewis take the Takona Renault 5 down to the Duke of London, from Sawbridgeworth to Brentford, along 2 motorways and through London, it goes smoother than expected. Stick around till the end to hear Lewis nearly break everything with his Mic.
Mike runs Squisita and Lewis runs Takona
Mike and Lewis sit down to talk cars late night in the cafe. Unexpectedly hit on some current event topics and rounded off with the unfortunate news that Mike's wife has decided to get a brand new car and not something old and cool.
We've set up an Instagram and a Twitter to accompany the podcast: Twitter is Here Instagram is Here.
Mike runs Pizza Squisita and Lewis runs Takona
Welcome to the coffees and cars podcast!
We sat down to get the idea going, discuss what the podcast is going to be about, and chat about where it's come from.
Mike runs Squisita, a cafe and pizzeria in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire. Lewis runs Takona, an automotive clothing brand raising mental health awareness, once a month we host a Coffees and Cars event in Sawbridgeworth. As we spend so much time talking cars and running small businesses, we figured we might as well record it, maybe someone would find it entertaining.
The best way to start, is to start, so here's episode 1.
