I am a traveller, Coffee lover, Motorcyclist and a self proclaimed story teller. Coffee Protocol Podcast is from India, sharing things and stories about coffee that is related with the Indian context. I feel theres a lot of stories that continuously weave our coffee scene, I wanted to encapsulate some of them. I am a Licensed Q processor, a Coffee consultant working with Coffee farms and also Cafes. Train people in Coffee related stuff from Coffee processing , to roasting, to brewing. ( if it mattered). most of all I love stories around coffee. Coffee is fun - simple - yum.

Ep. 28 - Été Coffee of Nagaland, with Lichan Humtsoe - Founder & CEO

All the way from NAGALAND!

I have been holding off to edit this episode for a very long time. Gor a lot of reasons; 1. This episode is clsoe to my heart, the experience that i had in Nagaland with @atsi @dili & @lichan was beyond amazing. I did not record the podcast with Dili and Atsi (yet), but I do want to share their unique and amazing stories too.

This Episode is about @lichan and everything behind @etecoffee based in Kohima, Nagaland. If you have not been there, trust me on it and just go! You will not be disappointed or regret it EVER. Everything about Nagaland, the people, the hospitality, the roads, the natural beauty, food, drinks (including water bottle shops :D) is just beautiful and warm.

And if you have seen the instagram handle of Ete, you would agree its one of the coolest coffee places on social media (and real). If you have not , go and check it right away.

In this podcast we discuss a lot about what went behind starting ETE and how a Roasting business started from roasting in a kadhai (tawa pan). What all roles does Lichan play in running this beautiful business and what were the sacrifices behind. I hope you will like this episode. While recording this episode, it was quite late in the night - around 11 Pm, and by Nagaland standards, that was way Past the normal Deadline.

Find out what an amazingly talented, beautiful, dedicated and gem of a person Lichan is and some really hearty stories that he shares, cause thats Justice A CUP !

Cafe is situated at Billy Graham Rd, Kohima, Nagaland 797001
