The Coffee Bar, a moody futuristic vignette written by Meera Collier, is an experimental dissonance. Full of dark corners, its denizens sip on highly fortified caffeine drinks, that are sometimes infused with with other drugs and powders to give those imbibing a high like cocaine. The bar is a hum of lowered voices. In search of Jack Nobody, the Detective (Aaron Umetani) questions the sweating bartender (Gino Danna), a caffeine fiend nervously waiting for his next hit.
