Can we learn Spanish the non traditional way? with Debby van Boxtel - 05
In this episode I talk with Debby van Boxtel. Debby is an expert in all Spanish and a Neuro Langauge coach.
It is her mission to teach Dutch expats to speak more than 'un pocito de Español'.
In her early years, she started to explore her passion for the Spanish language and lived in Barcelona for a year.
Nicaragua and intens traveling through Central America followed.
In 2006 she started her online business teaching others Spanish, but if she was bored by the traditional way of teaching, how did her students feel?.
Debby shares about how our brain is wired and how she uses that to teach others Spanish.
How she found herself on a birthday in Nicaragua and Debby shares with us many tips when you want to learn a new language.
Oh and she confronts me at the end of the episode on how moving to Latin America has changed me.
