Cleveland @ White Sox - May 18th, 1999

Coax Baseball parties like it's a year toward the end of the last century. May 18th, 1999, the White Sox host the offensive juggernaut Clevelands at Comiskey Park. We've got classic Hawk Harrleson, we've got The Big Hurt, we've got a litany of excellent Cleveland hitters powering the team to the Majors best record to that point in the year.

Scott and Travis discuss Cleveland's uneven roster construction, late 90s payrolls compared to today, the absolute freak known as Richie Sexson, looking back at problematic players and how we should remember them, and the White Sox for like two minutes.

The Omar Vizquel story (HEAVY content warning: Sexual violence, assault).
Robbie Alomar's second story (heed the same warnings).

And if you want to get ahead and watch next week's game, we're headed way way back to the 1980s for a Jays Cleveland game from Old Muni Stadium in 1988. You can find it here.
