In this episode, Andrew interviews Mervin Yeo, networking expert, adapted introvert and the founder of Introverts Network Asia. They talk about Mervin's career journey, networking, introversion and how to network as an introvert. Mervin Yeo is a networking evangelist who has been spreading the good news of networking through his writing, training, coaching and mentoring for two decades. Mervin had authored and co-authored numerous books including "Purposeful Networking For Introverts" and "I Can Connect - An Introvert's Handbook To Stress-Free Networking" and is contributing author in the New York Times best-seller "Masters of Networking". His latest e-book "Step Out, Show Up", a Networking Confidence Starter-Guide for Introverts” was e-launched in May 25, 2020. For 13 years, he was the Singapore National Director of the world’s largest referral organisation and was on the Executive team of a Singapore-based leadership development company for two years. Mervin describes himself as an adapted introvert and in 2013 he founded the Introverts Network Singapore, a quietly growing networking community of introverts. He has since expanded that to develop similar networks in Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines with plans to start more in cities in the region. His current focus are INA and Quiet Impact Asia, an academy to develop and nurture Adaptive Introverts in Singapore and the region.
