
On the night of November 9, 1984, 31-year-old yoga instructor and waitress Lesley Patricia Larkin was discovered in her Noosa Heads unit—naked and gravely injured, lying across a mattress in her bedroom. Her neighbourhood, once a haven of innocence, turned into a crime scene that would remain unsolved for decades.
Despite over 150 interviews—including with her ex-partner, neighbours, and colleagues—no clear motive emerged: nothing was stolen, there was no sign of sexual assault, and there appeared to be no forced entry.
