Colombian artist and Clubsonica label boss Juan Pablo Torrez has compiled an impressive resume since first emerging in 2007. Mango Alley, Plattenbank, The Soundgarden, UV and more have served as landing spots for his progressive creations, while world class DJs Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren have been steadfast supporters along the way. Also highly regarded as a DJ, Juan remains one of Colombian’s premiere talents, sharing the stage with Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Sasha, Tim Green, D-Nox and more. With 2025 being highlighted by a return to Paul Thomas’ UV, Juan now adds Constellation Music to his resume with a superb rendition of ‘Neuroleptic’. Taking a modern approach, the Colombian phenom warms up the framework with plush kick drums, fluid rhythmic pulses and spacious percussion. Smooth and flowing in equal measure, its looping hypnotism delivers energy throughout, as placid atmospheres and quirky synth mutations emerge, eventually coming to full fruition atop a buzzing key changing groove for the ultimate emotional rollercoaster to round out the release on a huge note.

This is the Episode #054. Remember to grab any of @clubsonicarec releases here: https://linktr.ee/clubsonica I'm your host and the dj for the first part of the show, JUAN PABLO Torrez. In the last part of this one we have a great guestmix by Ruben Karapetyan which was recorded live at Avalon Club LA. Ruben released a few weeks ago a groovy remix to K Loveski and Geronimo Eguiguren's Kamikaze. Check it on Beatport and all major streaming platforms (https://hypeddit.com/clubsonica099c). Ok, so for the first hour, I'm playing the remixes that Sebastian Sellares and Juan Deminicis did for the new Clubsonica release by Nufects and Jab Vix, check it out as it is already available now on stores (https://hypeddit.com/clubsonica099d). Following a ten-year hiatus, the Armenian-born, USA-based artist made a triumphant return to electronic music in 2020 with a series of the releases via Mango Alley, Movement Recordings and Univack. On the strength of his fresh, progressive sound Ruben quickly earned praise from the genre's trendsetters Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, while also becoming a regular in Beatport's competitive sales charts. Now, following a contribution to The Soundgarden's Winter Sampler, Ruben makes his Clubsonica debut with a powerful take on 'Chaia'. Remember to Share, Repost, Like and Comment it. Your feedback is very valuable.
