Zach Joiner and Joshua Lapin-Bertone launched in 2009 a show that had a simple premise: chronicle each issue of the infamous 1990s Spider-Man story that would become known as the Clone Saga. Covering 26 months and 144 issues of the five core-titles, such as Amazing Spider-Man, Spider-Man [later renamed Peter Parker: Spider-Man] Web of Spider-Man, which was replaced by Sensational Spider-Man, Spectacular Spider-Man, and Spider-Man Unlimited, the group of experts ventured out to talk Clones. Little did they know the show would include every mini-series from the era, a 12-volume collection of Trade Paper Backs, 4 Omibusis, two 25 issue series that focused on both Kaine and Ben Reilly, all the one-shots and stories that dealt with the characters in the modern era, interviews and so much more.

In 2016, Ben Reilly returned. We hated it. Covered in Episode 62, we discussed the story that brought about the return of the character… and while I hated that story, I attempted to give it a shot, especially when Josh and I interviewed him in Episode 64. So, Zach goes through the 25 issues of the storyline, before jumping into the Spider-Geddon Story Arc that ran from Oct-December 2018. (Effectively catching up from every appearance in Spider-Clone-related stories). So, enjoy the final solo effort, at least for now before we resume our regularly scheduled programming.
