Why Did God Choose Abraham? - Book of Genesis | Lecture 9

God chose Abram because he saw something special in him, which is evident in the first few verses of chapter 12 in the Book of Genesis. Abram was asked by God to leave his country, kindred, and father's house to go to a land that God would show him, with no prior relationship or justification given. Abram, who was 75 years old at the time, obeyed God's command without hesitation or questioning, demonstrating an extraordinary display of faith. Abram's faith is characterized by his perfect receptivity and docility to God's will, which is a remarkable and borderline miraculous trait.
