The long kept secrets of ninjitsu from the East now come to the West....at least that what was promised in 1985's American Ninja.
Michael Dudikoff is Joe Armstrong, an amnesiac loner in the US Marines who finds himself ostracized and framed for theft of military property. His only allies are Patricia Hickock, daughter of the base commander and his captain Curtis Jackson. His enemies: corrupt officials, drug lords and the mysterious Black Star Ninjas. Does this movie have any redeeming quality beyond its attempt to cash in on America's fascination with martial arts?
