Tired of the same story repeating without end? What if it is the story of trauma gone wild? Have you heard of intergenerational trauma?
Kini Chang is the Department Chair and Associate Professor of the Master's in Counseling Psychology, Community Mental Health at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco.
She is a practicing licensed psychotherapist with a private practice in Oakland, CA. In addition, she is pursuing a Doctorate in Philosophy and Transformative Studies. Her expertise is in liberation psychology, working with the trauma associated with intergenerational and multigenerational impacts, immigrants and children of immigrants, decolonial practices and Indigenous justice, confronting systemic oppression and social inequity, addressing community violence, education on juvenile justice reformation, and healing abuse, attachment, and traumatic grief and loss.
