Day 306 | Mark 14:53-65; Matthew 26:57-68; Mark 14:66-72; Matthew 26:69-75; Luke 22:54-62; John 18:25-27; Mark 15:1; Matthew 27:1-2; Luke 22:66-71; Matthew 27:3-10
In one of the darkest moments of his life, Peter denied even knowing Jesus—just as the Lord had said he would. As the rooster crowed, Jesus turned and looked at him, and Peter wept bitterly. Fear had overcome faith. Yet this story is not only about failure—it’s about grace. Like Peter, we often deny Christ in subtle ways: through our silence, our choices, or our fear. But every time we turn back, Jesus stands ready to forgive, restore, and call us to follow Him again. His mercy is greater than our mistakes.
