I got to share some info about Martin Luther's history, which they eventually tried to compare with Charles Taze Russell. This was particularly interesting as earlier in the same chat we had talked about some of Russell's crazy teachings in The Finished Mystery, which I had with me. One of them even brought up Russell's obsession with pyramids in The Divine Plan of the Ages! And yet, they still wanted to defend him as if he was some kind of new Luther.
