There is a profound application when we study how two separate things can not occupy the same space. When fear was about to grip Jairus when a servant told him his daughter was dead, Jesus told him, “Do not be afraid; only believe.” (Mark 5:36b).  Fear and faith can't occupy the same space!

In this message, Pastor Nick shows how scripture reveals the importance of the New Wine that Jesus offers us. To fully accept and retain that new wine, we need to be new wineskins.  And just as new wineskins, we need to be the soft pliable vessels for new life that Jesus has for us.

Dunamis. The Greek word translated as "power" for most of the New Testament is what the Angel Gabriel tells Mary she'll be overshadowed with. That power wasn't something at rest in her, it was power that was put into action: the birth of Jesus Christ, our Savior. That same "power in action" is what God has given us through His Holy Spirit!
