
From a young age it was clear that Jaleel Dotson had a lyrical talent that his peers didn’t. He just “knew words kids his age didn’t.” Fast forward to his freshman year of high school, he turned to music again to cope with the struggles of life… This time his brothers death. So he did the ten toes down challenge and posted it online. Immediately over night 10k people listened to it. This boosted his confidence to write more songs and do more remixes like “Rubbing off the Paint which ended up being John Adams high schools student section song. Fast forward to college, he got the opportunity to open for Jacques and JayDaYoungan along with performing at numerous other events. Nowadays, Jaleel is living the simple life as college graduate continuing his career in information technologies but still pursuing his dreams full time…
