Christina is an innovative and proactive registered nurse, Health Visitor and Family Nurse Practitioner with over 19 years’ experience. An experienced and passionate subject matter expert and Head of Safeguarding, she has extensive knowledge and expertise within a variety of settings including health, housing, sport, education and in the charity sector. A strong strategic leader who has actively developed, delivered, and embedded robust safeguarding systems, processes, and procedures through the provision of expertise, knowledge, and direction. Christina is highly self-motivated, flexible, and resilient with quality and safety always at the forefront of her practice and is keen to make a positive contribution to the lives of the most vulnerable. Christina has successfully raised the profile of safeguarding across several large organisations being appointed as the first established Head of Safeguarding for two large hospitals and a national charity.
