Barbie hits some black ice while driving, sending the ambulance on its side and impaling Julia. (Now he knows how those of us who live in Atlanta feel when we get an ice storm.) Big Jim and Junior’s relationship is (back) on ice, but Big Jim and Pauline’s relationship might just be thawing.
The egg arrives via air mail to Zenith, but you “can’t touch dis”. And Lyle arrives via slow boat to Chester’s Mill speaking of, what else, the End of the World(tm). Maybe that was his vision, but it seems more like self-directed prophecy.
