Chad and Amy begin their married life. Cracks are already appearing. They get jobs at the same company, in different departments with schedules that make spending time together difficult. Chad struggles dealing with Amy's emotions. Amy struggles dealing with Chad's tendency to shut down in certain situations. Both are excited about the arrival of the baby, which is the thing really holding them together. Stacy and Todd begin their married life. They are really enjoying an active social life, at school and church. But family is beginning to be a problem. Especially Todd's mom. Todd's need for his mother's approval, and her demands on his time are causing serious friction in their marriage. Stacy's past is also having an impact.
