Stef Skupin worked as a veterinarian for many years. Stef was introduced to Animal Communication in 2007 at a veterinary conference. Animal communication helped Stef with behavior cases in practice, and with her dog when Roxy kept running away to hunt. Stef's passion is to help animals be heard and seen as full persons with a range of emotions and intelligence that equals and sometimes outstrips humans. Due to her background in veterinary medicine, she's ideally placed to help pet parents navigate their pet’s life stages and understand therapy options.

Her business, Sipho Animal Communication, is named after her ginger tomcat Sipho. Sipho means 'precious gift' in the Xhosa language.
