If you're a woman or know a woman - so ya know, all of us - this is an episode you HAVE to listen in on! Amy and Nancy Harrington, the powerhouse sister duo, dropped by to give me the insights on the breadcrumbs they followed, all the way to sock puppets (yes really).
These sisters founded The Passionistas Project out of a deep desire to empower ALL women around the world. Both co-founders walked away from high-profile jobs in Hollywood to work together. Amy was the Vice President of Visual Effects and Post Production for all feature films at Warner Bros, working on movies like the "Harry Potter" franchise, the original "Matrix" trilogy and "Space Jam." Nancy left the ad agency where she created Academy Award campaigns for Miramax.
Deciding to work together, they became celebrity interviewers and have conducted or produced interviews with everyone from Dr. Jane Goodall to Mick Jagger.
In 2018, they decided to use their interviewing skills to shine a spotlight on women through their podcast, subscription box, and virtual Power of Passionistas summit. With all they do, they strive to inspire women to follow their passions and join forces in the fight for equality for all.
