She gently reminds you that you are not responsible for other's emotional needs and need not serve as a container for their projections any longer. I am no longer your keeper. I'm not turning my back on you, I am facing toward my own life. You are free. And so am I. My sadness is not karmic debt, it is love grieving its own departure.
