Core Demonstration is a Portland-based hip hop group. Their music catalog contains a wide-array of styles ranging from the lo-fi, esoteric, G-Funk, and Hyphy. I had the chance to speak with Core Demo members, KaressthaMC and Samadhi Cyph about Portland Hip Hop’s growth and how the scene is evolving, the spiritual influence contained in my favorite project from the Portland collective-- God Notes. And, of course, we had a freewheeling conversation about their current studio setup and how it had changed over time.
