48: Sew 'n' Sews - Smallbridge stitchers sew skills and friendships
Our Pathfinder Press reporter Lorraine took us to the Sew 'n' Sew community group in Smallbridge, Rochdale to meet a group of women who go along to learn sewing skills, make friends, socialising with a brew and a biscuit.
The Sew ’n’ Sews group, led by volunteer tutor Dawn Alletson, is a lively space where members make everything from practical items to fun, decorative pieces, all while picking up new skills and enjoying each other’s company.
