This was a strange and special year in boxing, considering the COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions placed on the sport and throughout the world.

Boxing still went on. Fights took place, including some big ones, featuring great comebacks and amazing finishes.

The Boxing Writers Association of America, which has been in existence for 94 years and selects the best of the best in boxing every year.

They will combine our awards ceremony for 2020 and 2021 together, which will make it the largest awards gala in the long history of the organization.

Because of the truncated boxing year, we’re only going to present six awards for 2020.

They have already named Katie Taylor as our 2020 Female Fighter of the Year. So, below are the nominees for the five remaining categories. The ballots will be due Friday, January 22, 2021,
