And of course, before we start, a quick refresher.
The group continued their crawl through the Great Furnace to find a Shrine of virtue. After combatting a long-starved vampire, the party felt the mountain tremble and shake with the threat of a imminent eruption.
They found themselves at a cliff overlooking a roiling pool of lava, that was set to burst forth out of the mountain. At the behest of her stone of virtue, Kallista decided to make the ultimate sacrifice and lep into the lava, with the rest of group falling in shortly after.
This proved to be the solution, and the group survived the incident, finding the Shrine of Sacrifice within the core of the Great Furnace. Kallista's stone showed the party a glimpse of the previous Champions of Virtue through the perspective of a human rogue named Belaith Pelor.
Upon being teleported out of the Great Furnace, Kallista found herself with a new dagger, presumably once belonging to Belaith himself.
The group quickly made their way to another potential shrine out west at the Flat Peaks. As they set out of Padun, they realized their trip would have them pass through the town of Sirith, where most of the Champions had first met, and left the town in a less than reputable state.
