Caught Stealing, Splitsville, Sorry Baby and Highest 2 Lowest
🎬 This Week on Celluloid Dreams
📻 Airs Wednesday 10 September | 7:30 PM | 2SER 107.3
🍿 New Releases:
Lewis checks out Caught Stealing with Austin Butler. Darren Aronofsky, usually known for his brooding, dark-themed cinema, steps instead into the traditional thriller genre. Also arriving this week is comedy romance Splitsville, an exploration of open relationships that might just tickle your funny bone. And writer and director Eva Victor’s debut indie feature Sorry, Baby has the critics buzzing.
🏆 Emmy Talk:
The preliminary Emmy Awards have been handed out. Will Lewis’ all-time favourite show snag a gong, or walk away empty-handed?
📺 Stream It or Leave It:
Highest 2 Lowest sees Spike Lee reimagine a Kurosawa classic. Can the New York legend match the heights of the Japanese master, or does the remake miss the mark? We weigh in.
