Brands of Brothers: Carry On Up The Jungle, Doctor in Trouble and Carry on Loving (S1 Ep3)
Slapstick shenanigans ahoy as we enjoy the saucy postcard stylings of Carry on Loving, Carry On Up The Jungle and Doctor in Trouble. By 1970 the two long-standing British comedy institutions of the Carry On and Doctor in the House franchises were reaching their end dates, but despite this the Carry On films were still propping up the British box office and prolific enough to generate two new releases in 1970. This week we'll be looking at Doctor in Trouble, Carry On Loving and Carry On Up The Jungle. And explaining the family connection behind these comedy behemoths.
