Celebrity Salute was created to honor our veterans, active duty military, their families and those who support them. Through conversations with celebrities, we recognize our nation’s true heroes and the sacrifices they make to protect our freedoms. We owe them greatly, and hope to raise awareness and support for them and their families while in active service and as they transition to civilian life —many continue to serve in the communities in which they live.

Celebrity Salute: John Slattery on Playing the Nuremberg Prison Commandant & His Legendary Career
We welcome legendary actor John Slattery to the podcast to talk about his storied career as well as his turn as Col. Burton C Andrus in the Sony Pictures Classic film “Nuremberg” coming to theaters Nov 7th. The real life Colonel’s most noted assignment was as the commandant of the Nuremberg Prison which housed accused Nazis during the Nuremberg trials after the end of World War II in Europe. We thank John for appearing on the show, and can’t wait to get to the theater to see this great historical drama!
