Fasting and Lenten History Continued (Pillars in show description)

In this episode we pick up where we left off talking about Lent, and the development of our tradition. Mainly focusing this episode on the development of fasting and how we got to where we are today. Also, before that I explain a little bit about some of the things the Church requests us to do during the Lenten Season, while we prepare to celebrate the death and resurrection, of Our Lord, on Good Friday and then Easter Sunday. I hope to upload a few more Lent themed episodes covering a few practices that hopefully you can use for the rest of our time during Lent to help you contemplate about the reason we partake in these observances, such as fasting. Also be on the lookout on the 19th I'll be releasing a St. Joseph's Rosary recitation in honor of our celebration of this great Saints feast day.

In part of the episode I mention my Pillars; Here's a refresher in updated terms (seeing as I glossed over them and didn't reiterate):
