Jacque and Laura chat about what an herbal tincture is, why you would want to make or use one and how to go about making one at home. Come learn along with us! Combine and cover with vegetable glycerin in a glass jar. Quick extraction method: place a loose lid on the jar then place jar in a pot of boiling water but do not cover completely with water. Boil for 2 hours then strain out the herbs. Slow extraction method: Place jar in a cool dark place and shake the jar every day for 6 weeks then strain out the herbs.
