Please stop telling ALL your business ...

While you may feel very close to your manager it is often a good move to keep your personal matters under wraps for a few reasons. First off, your manager’s primarily concern should be with your performance and the company's operations. Sharing personal details that don't impact your work can come across as unprofessional and might divert attention from what really matters.

Plus, not everyone needs to know everything about your personal life. Sharing too much might blur the line between your professional and personal identities. Remember, your boss is still your supervisor, and maintaining a certain level of boundary helps you project a more focused and competent image.

Also, consider office dynamics. Depending on the workplace, discussing personal matters might inadvertently get tangled in office gossip or politics. It's like dipping your toes into potentially tricky waters, which you might want to avoid.

Of course, if a personal issue directly affects your work, it's a different story. But for everyday stuff, like weekend plans or family matters, it's usually a good idea to keep that outside the office walls. It's all about striking that balance between being genuine and maintaining professionalism.
