Transition is movement from one stage to another. Transition is how people respond to change. Change means something new is starting and something old is ending.

Change is situational: the new job, the new business, the new team roles or the new policy. Change is external. Transition is the psychological process people go through to come to terms with the new situation. Transition is internal.
