In our very first episode of the Care to Chat podcast, we discuss our befriending services. At Gateshead Carers, we have our own befriending service to give unpaid carers and those they care for, an opportunity to change their usual daily routines and to have a chat with a new friend. Along with Carer Wellbeing Facilitator Paul, we discuss how important the befriending service has been during the Covid-19 pandemic and how carers in Gateshead can get involved with us!
