Choosing the Right Gear for the Job with Cinematographer, Dave May

Dave is a cinematographer and director specialising in documentary and factual television, with a portfolio that extends across comedy, music and a range of social and branded content, shooting and directing for the likes of The ABC, SBS, National Geographic, triple j, Netflix, and more. He's also the recipient of numerous Australian Cinematographers Society awards, including a Golden Tripod, and has been awarded a Young Walkley award for video journalism.

In this episode,  Dave draws on his journey from building computers to becoming an award winning cinematographer and shares invaluable tips and advice on how to get started in the world on cinematography.
