Dans cet épisode, Lori et Sarah rencontrent Stéphan Francoeur, adjoint administratif à Zoothérapie Québec. Nous apprenons qu'avec la pandémie touchant durement les CHSLD, les animaux de thérapie perdent leur plus grosse clientèle. Alors que les bénéficiaires ont le plus besoin de compagnie pour briser la solitude, Zoothérapie Québec était confiné et ne pouvait donner tous les services qu'il souhaitait. Avec les mises à pied et les services au ralenti, la situation n’a pas été facile. Toutefois, pour les quelques visites autorisées dans les établissements, nous apprenons que plusieurs intervenants ont pu passer plus de temps avec chaque bénéficiaire.

Malgré le ralentissement imposé par la pandémie, les chiens de thérapie doivent garder une habitude et une certaine dynamique sociale. À cet effet, ils viennent au bureau afin de continuer leur socialisation et leurs interactions avec les chiens et les humains.
