As discussed in the focused deterrence seminar, deterrence initiatives can be very specific. In this audio seminar I discuss approaches to passive deterrence, such as crime prevention through environmental design (CPTED) and passive forms of police presence. Originally recorded for SOC 4451 (Policing) at the University of Western Ontario.
