Can I Just Say? is a phrase that I often say and one which is deeply rooted in the essence of who I am. It is how I enter conversations, initiate connection, and invite people to share their stories. The idea being that this is a platform and community where guests and listeners have the freedom to say whatever is on your mind and in your heart. So, when somebody leads with, “Can I just say?”, my answer is an emphatic “YES.” As I embark on this next stage of my podcasting journey, guests will be going beyond what’s expected and diving into the more raw, vulnerable parts of their stories that don’t often get enough air time or perhaps they’ve never shared before. In keeping aligned with my personal values, I am focused on building a community of cycle-breakers who want to connect and grow together.

Spiritual Wisdom for The Modern World with Greg Ripley
During this conversation, Greg Ripley and I delve into how spirituality, especially Taoism, can inform and enrich our lives, guiding us toward a more harmonious relationship with ourselves and the world around us. A central tenet of Greg’s philosophy draws from Taoism's teachings on acceptance and living in the present. He emphasizes the power of recognizing and allowing life to unfold in its own time, resisting the urge to fight against reality. This approach not only reduces personal suffering but also opens up a path to clearer vision and meaningful action. His insights touch on the practical applications of these principles, offering listeners tangible ways to integrate them into daily life. Greg's latest book, "100 Remedies of the Tao: Spiritual Wisdom for Interesting Times”, seeks to distill these ancient teachings into accessible, practical wisdom for modern seekers. Through this work, Greg aims to bridge the gap between spiritual tradition and the demands of our fast-paced, often disconnected world.  📚 Get your copy of 100 Remedies of the Tao here: https://amzn.to/4bIB4p0  💡 Learn more about Greg's work at: https://gregoryripley.com/-------------------------------------------------------- 🎧 Episode Chapters00:00 Welcome to the Show: Introducing Greg Ripley00:51 Discovering the Path to Taoism01:25 Early Influences and Finding Belonging03:17 Turning Points and Embracing Eastern Philosophy04:05 Journey Through Education and Rediscovering Nature13:57 The Practical Application of Taoism in Modern Life22:48 Exploring the Dao De Jing and Personal Interpretations30:44 The Power of Reminders and Memory in Personal Growth33:27 Exploring the Role of a Taoist Priest36:00 The Intersection of Taoism and Forest Therapy37:09 Understanding Qigong and Its Health Benefits40:07 The Importance of Integrity in Practice and Teaching43:39 Humanity's Potential for Unity and Success55:28 Navigating Life's Journey and Future Aspirations57:37 Final Thoughts on Taoism, Nature, and Humanity -------------------------------------------------------- 📺  Check out Can I Just Say? on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@nicandnik   💌  Share your email at canijustsaypodcast.com to subscribe to the CIJS newsletter!  👉  Follow Me:https://instagram.com/nikkilacrocehttps://tiktok.com/@nikkilacrocehttps://facebook.com/@canijustsaypodcasthttps://www.linkedin.com/in/nikkilacroce/
