Aaaah! It's part two of Algernon Blackwood's "The Wendigo".
Still moody and atmospheric, but less with the accents this week. Though it's still that French Canadian so bad it isn't even offensive anymore.
"The Wendigo" was published 1910 in The Lost Valley and Other Short Stories.
