Public Lands Rule: Let your voice be heard and submit a comment to your lawmakers! Here’s more information about the Public Lands Rule.

Lately an idea I’ve been noodling on is that I want to improve my senses and learn to pay better attention to the details in the world around me. In an effort to “train” that skill, I picked up a book on Nature Journaling in hopes of starting my own illustrated journal. However, this past week, I stumbled on a treasure trove of recorded sounds that I’ve organically collected over this year’s travels. In this episode of Camp Nowhere, we’re listening back to my audio take on a nature journal to hear a diverse collection of natural and and human made sounds. Like any journal, revisiting it brings up a flood of memories and realizations with hindsight.

Things Mentioned in this Episode:

~ Laws Guide to Nature Drawing & Journaling by John Muir Laws

~ Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Festival

~ Michinoku Coastal Trail podcast EP01
