Switch 2 specs
1080 lcd
Up to 4k 120 game permitting doc mode
Also 120 fps for 1080p and 1440p
Cooling fan to help with performance
Magnetic joy cons
They have larger buttons and now a c button
New discord like feature on the switch where you can screen share but quite frankly it looks like butt cheeks performance anyways so seems like a waste
256gb storage
Expandable with micro sd express cards
Assume the games are going to be bigger and that is why larger base storage, you will probably still be better just buying a 1tb sd and loading everything there
HDR support
7.9 inch screen
Finally have 2 usb c ports
One above and one below the console
According to Nintedo website: Approx. 2 – 6.5 hours *These are rough estimates. The battery life will depend on the games you play.
SPECS HERE: https://www.nintendo.com/us/gaming-systems/switch-2/tech-specs/
Game sharing
Allowing you to share select games with people around you on their switches to play multiplayer without needing everyone to have the game (maybe they doing this because their games are getting way too pricy)
Still no exposure to what the RAM is and the CPU/GPU is just claiming to be custom by NVIDIA, not sure why nintendo wants to hide this info
Price Points
Console 450 or 500 bundled with Mario Kart
Here is what the stream deck goes for. $400 for just the standard LCD screen but specs seem somewhat comparable and a dock for it is like 80 bucks first party, so if I had to guess, Nintedo definitely used this as one of their influences for price points, this might even help project what a potential OLED could be one day https://store.steampowered.com/steamdeck
Anywhere from 60 - 90 dollars
We know that Mario Kart World will retail $80 for digital
Donkey Kong Bananza will be $70
The guess right now based on some screenshots here and there is the the digital versions can be around $10 less than physical though it does differ across the different currencies
Is this now they new standard for first party games? Going 20 dollars over the normal AAA title price, will everyone just follow now and thank Nintendo for being the bold overlords to make the first move
