His background is in technology, and he likes to think of himself as the enemy of ignorance and stupidity. Recently, he decided to get sober… for good. This means much of Call Me Donovan (formerly DDP) will be him discussing that continuous journey with all the ups and downs that go along with it.

What Makes Us... Us?

SPOILER ALERT: If you haven’t watched Pantheon on Netflix and don’t want ANY spoilers, then don’t listen to this episode yet. I do my best to not give away everything but there are certain plot points I have to discuss for the purpose of this episode’s direction. In the show Pantheon on Netflix, we have the story of Uploaded Intelligence, where people are able to upload themselves, their “intelligence”, into a computer. It’s a great show, but it did make me wonder the age old philosophical question: What makes us… us?
