In Our Recent mission in April of 2022 the Cabo Verdean American Medical Society not only sent medical teams to Brava, Fogo and Santiago but we also  went to Santo Antao and Sao Vicente and did dozens of Cataract surgeries restoring eye sight in patients.  Here is what we learned in that experience about the realty of health care in the Northern Islands  and the opportunities for future collaboration.
