The importance of empathy in candidate engagement

The importance of empathy in candidate engagement

Empathy. What does this mean to you? Is it something that comes naturally? Can it be learned? During this episode, I chat with Jodi Brandstetter about the role that empathy plays in the entire candidate lifecycle, and its importance in creating the best possible employee experience. Jodi has 20 years’ experience in HR and recruiting, and her bestselling book, Hire by Design, is used by HR professionals to help them implement design thinking into their hiring strategies.

I really enjoyed this chat with Jodi, not least because it covered one of my favourite topics of onboarding, and how we can use design thinking and empathy to create a really engaging onboarding experience. If you would like to discover more about this topic, then you can get in touch with me directly or follow CA3 on LinkedIn. You can also contact Jodi here.

Thanks for listening!
